Taylor Mackenzie to contest in 125cc GP Championship

Taylor Mackenzie, son of the famous three times BSB champion Niall, who also raced for fourteen seasons in the World Championship, will be contesting in next season’s 125cc World Championship.
The 17-year-old has signed a two year deal with Worldwide Group (aka Ongetta Team ISPA), that will see the Scottish youngster debut full time on the international scene (he was wildcard at the Silverstone and Valencia GP’s with a KRP Honda) after competing in the Red Bull Rookies Cup and the BSB 125cc championship where he finished 4th in this year’s standings, with wins at Cadwell Park, Croft and Oulton Park.

With a 2 year deal in his pocket, Mckenzie will ride the final season of the 125cc’s, before the switch to the 250cc Moto3 class.
