Bugatti Galibier to be ""significantly altered""

Bugatti Galibier will be “significantly altered” from the concept car it was supposed to derive from.
This is what Bugatti’s CEO Wolfgang Durheimer said in an interview to Autocar magazine about the launch of its super sedan, which was put on hold a few weeks back but is now underway again.

Galibier is currently going throug its second half of the design phase” and will be presented to VW’s bosses in its final version by Christmas.
“There will be some remarkable changes from the original concept – Durheimer said – as the whole design will be quite different, especially from the B-pillar back, so that passenger compartment entry and exit operations will be easier, and room for legs on the backseat will also increase.

Obviously, in order to achieve these results, the car will have to be a little longer.
“Durheimer also claims that the power of the engine will boast “at least 4 figures” and that “half of Veyron owners have already seen the new Galibier, although still in its concept form”.
Bugatti’s new flagship will be unveiled in 2013 and will cost about 1.

7 million Euros.
