McDonald’s customers need to wear face masks for new takaways rules

No10 implemented the rules on masks as new restrictions in an effort to avoid a potentially catastrophic second wave in the winter.

If you are a big fan of McDonald’s, you should wear face masks when ordering at the counter. If you break the rule, you can risk a £100 fine. Masks rule implemented in takeaways and sandwich shops under laws introduced on Thursday.

However, many businesses declare they have still not been formerly informed whether customers will be required to wear masks. In fact, Mr Hancock previously declared that customers entering Pret A Manger would be required to wear a mask, but Boris Johnson’s official spokesperson later said they wouldn’t. UKHospitality CEO Kate Nicholls argued: “The public needs clarity and reassurance if customer confidence is to bounce back.”
