According to the quarantine regulations in Belgium, an asymptomatic person who has had close contact with a person positive to Covid, as is the case of the President of the European Commission, he must remain in solitary confinement for a week commencing on the last day of contact.

On the fifth day of isolation, a single test must be conducted. If the result is positive, the subject shall remain in quarantine for a further seven days, then 12 in total;>if the result is negative, the quarantine shall end on the seventh day.
