Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelil Mozzi welcomed their first beautiful baby girl on September 18 at 11.42 pm. The baby girl’s weight was 6 pounds and 2 ounces and was born at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London. With this birth, Queen Elizabeth has 12 great-grandchildren. The royal baby is currently 11th in line to the throne.
Princess Beatrice and her husband are thrilled about this birth.
The Italian title of Nobile Donna will be given to their baby. It translates to Noble Woman.
A statement from Buckingham Palace said: “The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news. The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care.
“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother, Christopher Woolf.”
Princess Beatrice’s husband is one of the property developer’s family.
They were part of the Italian nobility before the country became a republic in 1946. It means his daughter will obtain one too.
The title does not come from the Royal family because they preserve their titles from the father’s side. As the Queen’s great-granddaughter, Beatrice’s baby is not labelled to a royal title from the Queen.
