After yesterday Monday April 6th, Boris Johnson has been asked to went to hospital for pre-caution test, now he moved to intensive care. This step should be took because his Covid-19 symptoms become worsened. As the advice of medical team, he should move to get better. The prime minister is understood to still be conscious and to have been moved as a precaution, in case he requires ventilation to aid his recovery.
Michael Gove said that Johnson has received oxygen but is not on ventilator.
However, the cabinet office minister said that he was “not aware” if he had contracted pneumonia. Gove insisted Johnson had followed a “stripped back” diary last week, as he isolated with Covid, after criticism that he had refused to rest and recover.
Will Walden, a friend of Boris Johnson and his former director of communications during his time as London mayor, said the Prime Minister is a “really, really strong guy” and “far fitter than he looks”. Walden had been touch with Johnson in a couple of times in the last fortnight, Johnson said that don’t worry, we’re going to beat it.
In line with Will Walden, Duncan Smith said that Boris is a fighter. A Former Tory party leader said “Let’s pray that Boris comes through. I’m sure he will. I believe strongly in his capability and his determination and the work of the doctors and the nurses in this wonderful NHS that we’ve got.”
