Since there was not going to be any major racing event this weekend – meaning a couple of pretty slow news days – we thought it would have been a good idea to delay the release of our usual photo gallery dedicated to most facinating brolly girls spotted aroound the Imola track during the latest World Superbike round.

Given that we had the eventful MotoGP race in Assen that took place the day before – and given we had also published a nice collection of images picturing the always beautiful Dutch ladies – we just did not want these Italian girls to get overshadowed by the MotoGP events (with Rossi’s long-awaited comeback to winning ways and Lorenzo’s even more impressive comeback from a collarbone surgery) or the magnificient one-two that gave Tom Sykes the lead of the WSBK championship in Imola.

Anyway, we haven’t forgetten we owed you one, so here it is.
The next round of the 2013 World Superbike Championship will take place in Moscow on the 21st of July, when the Aprilia guys and Marco Melandri will try to catch up with the Kawasaki man.

Last year, when the Russian circuit debuted in the calendar, Tom Sykes won Race-1 and took the second place in Race-2 behind Melandri, so we would expect the Huddersfield-born rider to give everyone a pretty hard time on that track too.

However, we will find out more about that in a forthnight.
