2013 SBK Silverstone: Leon Camier tops QP2 and closes in on Sykes

After Friday’s dominating and clean sweep by Tom Sykes at Silverstone, ahead of the ninth round of 2013 World Superbike championship, the second and final qualifying session saw the rest of the field able to cut the massive gap that separated them from the Kawasaki rider.

Sykes was still the overall leader on the combined timesheets, but he was unable to improve his yesterday’s blistering lap time, and his best lap this morning left him in 6th, as Leon Camier turned out to be the fastest rider in QP2 as he was just 0.
