MotoGP viewing numbers also drop in Spain

If MotoGP viewing audiences in Italy dropped for the evening races in Qatar, Spain’s numbers weren’t that much better, despite the fact that Spanish riders won in all three classes.
MotoGP this year is being broadcasted by Spain’s Telecinco (Mediaset) and no longer by TVE, and the inaugural Moto3 race saw a 13.

3% share which was up from last year’s 12.
6%, while many more viewers tuned in to see Marc Marquez battle Andrea Iannone to the finish line for the Moto2 race victory, an interesting rise to 17.
5% compared to last year’s 14.

4%.
While the two lower classes saw their numbers rise, the premier class of racing, MotoGP saw a drop.
Only 3,120,000 people watched Jorge Lorenzo step up to the highest podium, a 20,2% share compared to last season’s 23,9%, with a total of 750,000 less viewers, but everyone is chalking it up to the fact that it was Easter Sunday.
