Niccolò Canepa is riding for Barni Racing in the 2013 World Superstock 1000 FIM Cup that officially kicks off next month at the Motorland Aragon circuit.
The Italian rider decided to get more mileage out of his new Ducati Panigale 1199 after his tests at Jerez last December and at Almeria earlier this month, and showed up at the official pre-season CIV test (the CIV championship starts April 6th) that took place at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit at Imola last weekendDuring his Jerez test where he gave fans a chance to see the Panigale’s dashboard and an onboard lap around the Spanish circuit, the same applies to this video footage of Canepa lapping the stunning Imola circuit, even if the start of his test was slightly hampered by an overzealous pitlane marshal who stopped him and warned him couldn’t enter the track with an onboard camera, sending him sheepishly back to his garage.

Canepa then decides to hide the camera under his leathers and in his second attempt gets by.
