Michael Schumacher will not race Nurburgring IDM Race

After his crash at the Cartegena circuit last February,where he sustained a concussion and neck damage, and after pulling out of the first IDM race at Lausitzring due to lack of fitness Michael Schumacher returned to his Honda CBR 1000 with Holzhauer Racing Team in a private test session at the Nurburgring track on Tuesday.

“I could get good times and had a lot of fun on the bike but I do not feel 100 percent back to full fitness and there is a big difference between testing laps and 20 laps at race pace while duelling.

“So, I have decided today to withdraw from the next round at the Nurburgring.
” Also present at the circuit was Corinna, Schumacher’s wife and according to the German paper Bild, the German was quoted as saying: “She would prefer if I gave up and instead rode horses”
