In this afternoon’s final World Superbike free practice at Monza, Tom Sykes when through the speed traps (in Max Biaggi’s draft) on board his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R recording 339.
5 km/h (210 mph)!This new record beats the previous one of 334.
8 km/h shared by Max Biaggi on his Aprilia RSV4 in 2010 and Michel Fabrizio on his BMW S1000RR, who recorded the same speed during yesterday QP1.
