With the 8th round of WSBK Championship just around the corner and will take place at the Italian circuit of Misano Adriatico, here is some up date news from the teams and about the riders.
Tommy Hill has split from his Althea Honda team and won’t be racing at Misano this weekend.

Hill has been at odds with Italian crew and was not allowed to race at the Miller, even if he the passed medical check after a practice crash where he injured his foot.

According to Hill: “There was a lot of politics involved and we just couldn’t get it all together.
”Genesio Bevilacqua, General Manager of Althea Honda has replaced Hill with French rider Matthieu Lagrive who already rides for Althea Honda, while Italian Flavio Gentile will replace Lagrive in Supersport.
Lagrive is a five times Endurance world Champion and at the present is 11th in Supersport and Gentile is the leader in the Italian Superbike Championship.

The Clinica Mobile is going to be visiting alot of riders on Thurday.
Max Neukirchner won’t be riding at Misano, but is going as a spectator and while he’s there will get a check-up and is targeting his return for the Brno round on July 26th.

Instead John Hopkins is pointing to Misano for his come back, and he too will also undergo a check up on Thursday to see if he is fit enough to race with Team Stiggy’s Honda.
The Celani Suzuki team has entered Alex Polita to replace injured Karl Muggeridge for Misano and Donington.
Muggerridge cracked several vertebrae during the Assen round, but found out that he was riding injured only after crashing out a Miller during race 1.
Alex Polita, who was riding Suzuki Hoegee in SSP found himself out of a ride when the team pulled out of the championship.
Alstare Suzuki riderYukio Kagayama will also try riding at Misano.
Kagayama picked up a broken foot and ankle during the U.
S.
round.
and according to the doctors this type of injury should have kept the Japanese out racing for at least six months, but after being visited by the reknowned Dr.
Ting, Kagayama was assured would be back in shape for the Italian round.
Matteo Baiocco and PSG-1 Corse after having missed the Kyalami and Miller rounds due to budget problems will be back for Misano.
Jamie Hacking will once again be filling in for Makoto Tamada in Kawasaki as will Gregorio Lavilla for Brendan Roberts in Guandalini Racing.
