We all know that GP riders can have tempers, when things don’t go their way, the Andrea Iannone vs Pol Espargaro clash last year in the 125cc race at Misano was a clear example of what shouldn’t happen on a race track, but another altercation happened on Sunday at Phillip Island during the Moto2 race between Australian wild card Wayne Maxwell and Hector Faubel.

Maxwell during the weekend well impressed for his first time with team Matteoni’s Moriwaki Moto2 bike qualifying 11th, but during the race Faubel dived up the inside of Australian rider at the Honda Hairpin with Maxwell trying to retake the place by riding around the outside of Faubel at Siberia, the two collided and went down and what happened in the gravel trap you can see in the video.
