Chaz Davies breaks left radius, will miss opening round

ParkinGO MTC Aprilia’s Chaz Davies crashed out at the Southern Loop during QP2 at Phillip Island and fractured his left radius and has been ruled out of Sunday’s races.
The Welshman who was due to make his official WSBK debut and qualified for the Superpole in 15th, instead will now have to undergo surgery in Melbourne and will have a month to recover before the second round of season at Imola.
