Fabrizio Lai to replace injured Alexander Lundh at Monza

Team Pedercini’s Alexander Lundh is still recovering from his fractured left collarbone that he sustained during qualifying at Assen that forced the session to be red flagged.
With the Swedish rider out of action, Lucio Pedercini has called on their CIV rider Fabrizio Lai to replace him in this weekend’s fourth Superbike round at Monza.

“I can’t wait to be racing on my home-track” said Fabrizio Lai ” and hoping for good weather.
So far I’ve raced only at Mugello CIV doubleheader and I didn’t get the results I was looking for.
I’ve never ridden the WSBK ZX-10R, so I need to learn how to take the best out of it, but I’m sure it has a lot of potential.

I hope to enjoy the weekend and to get two good results, I would also like to thank my sponsors and Team Pedercini that allowed me to be back to World Superbike.
Lai 35, has ridden in the now defunct 125cc and 250cc GP classes, in World Supersport and has been a replacement rider in World Superbikes for Broc Parkes and Ruben Xaus.

Lundh is expected to return to action for the Donington round later this month.
