There’s no stopping Jorge Lorenzo this year.
The Fiat Yamaha rider who was picture perfect and in a state of grace took his seventh victory of the 2010 season at the Brno race circuit and has lengthened his lead in the standings with 77 points on second place rival Dani Pedrosa celebrated his seventh win on hole seven of the Brno golf course.

Pedrosa took second and tried his best to stay with his fellow countryman, but halfway through the race had to concede to the superiority of Lorenzo and his Yamaha M1.

The third place on the podium went to Casey Stoner who completed the first lap in fourth place, but was able to pass Spies on lap 7 to take his fifth succssive podium finish.
Ben Spies took an impressive fourth, but he rode as high as second before fading and getting caught by Stoner, but the American can be satisfied when later today Yamaha will anounce his move to the factory team.

An opaque fifth place for Valentino Rossi, who after a terrible start falling from fifth to eighth and hitting Loris Capirossi’s brake lever could not replicate the race pace he had in qualifying.

Nicky Hayden rode to a sixth place finish while nursing a broken radius and he was followed by Monster Yamaha’s Tech3 Colin Edwards.
The only interesting battle in a somewhat boring race was the battle for eighth.
With Marco Melandri getting the best from Hector Barbera and Randy de Puniet, who was aggressively riding despite returning 26 days after breaking his leg.
Marco Simoncelli looked like he was going to lose the 11th spot Alvaro Bautista, when the already battered and bruised rookie crashed after passing the Italian at the final turn.
A dangerous situation for Andrea Dovizioso who lost the front of his Honda in the third lap and crashed in the middle of the track and the riders behind him zig zagging to avoid the fallen Dovizioso.
Other crashers included Loris Capirossi and Mika Kallio.
