My first reaction was: “this is weird!” But then I thought about the advantages this helmet has for summer riding, and I just might be converted.

This cross between a pair of sunglasses and a bicycle helmet needs no explanation, so we won’t bore you with descriptions of its air intakes and washable lining (it doesn’t have one, for that matter).
While we’re doubtful it will ever be approved as suitable bike wear, but at least the idea is there.
If we ever have to gad about on bicycles due to worldwide recession and climate change, this helmet could come into its own.
