Following Deacon Blue, the Kaiser Chiefs will take the stage on July 21, just before the ships depart. Their energetic performance is expected to captivate the audience, adding to the festival’s festive atmosphere. Additionally, the lineup includes Ministry of Sound Classical and Tide Lines, ensuring a diverse range of musical styles for attendees to enjoy.
Free daytime concerts and community engagement
The festival will not only feature paid evening concerts but also free daytime events, showcasing local talent and providing entertainment for all ages. On July 20, Tide Lines will perform a free gig as a gesture of appreciation from the event organizers to the people of Aberdeen. Adrian Watson, chief executive of Aberdeen Inspired, emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “Can you imagine Deacon Blue leading 7,000 people in a rendition of Dignity with all those beautiful vessels as a backdrop? Ticket sales and expectations
Tickets for the Quayside Concerts will go on sale on March 5 at 9 am, and organizers anticipate high demand. Priced at £45 each, a bundle for all three paid concerts will be available for £110. Tickets can be purchased online or in person at Aberdeen Box Office locations, including His Majesty’s Theatre and the Music Hall.
