For the upcoming summer Trenitalia offers travellers cheap rail tickets; from 13 June to 30 September you can tour the country by train and save money on every trip.
A seat on the famous Freccia Rossa/ Freccia d’argento – the fastest trains here in Italy stopping at such large cities as Turin, Milan, Padua, Venice, Rome and Naples – will cost you only 19 euros (second class) while children under the age of 12 will travel for free ( parents will get 20 % off ).
