Summer Events in Italy: Paestum Festival 2008

Every year Paestum hosts an important festival devoted to music, the Terpsichorean art and the theatre.
A series of amazing events that usually take place in the arena of the archaeological area; an enchanting place redolent of a glorious past now gone for ever.

Vestiges of great beauty that will make your heart beat faster and faster.

Moreover this year the public will have the opportunity to see such big names as Raffaele Paganini former principal dancer with the Rome Opera ballet; Roberto Herrera and his Argentine Tango Company, Gianna Nannini and Massimo Ranieri, a rather versatile artist who began his career as a singer and then successfully crossed over into acting.

The festival will run from 7th to 26th August.
