Next June the city of Rimini will host the Ancient World Festival.
For four days people will have the rare opportunity to embark on a fascinating journey through history.
More than one hundred events and meetings will take place in Rimini from 18-21 June.
In this beautiful city by sea, the Greek /Roman world and all the civilizations which originated in the Middle East will step into the spotlight, with experts discussing myths and historic figures.
Visitors will also be able to see the famous Domus of the Surgeon, the Roman amphitheatre and the Museo degli Sguardi, a museum dedicated to objects and materials that have been found by travellers around the world.
A few events , always related to the festival, will also take place in Santarcangelo, Cattolica and in the picturesque village of Verrocchio, famous for its necropolis.
