Al Pacino awarded prize at Rome's International Film Festival

Al Pacino is simply charming, funny, wise and open.
Welcomed by an authentic ovation, Pacino has been awarded with the Marc’Aurelio prize at the third edition of the Rome International Film Festival.
The legendary Al Pacino had a long chat with the media and the venerating public, before scenes from SaloMaybe?, and the rare Chinese Coffee, previously unseen in Europe.

The exchange took place at the Actor’s Studio, with Pacino talking about his 40-year career, his creative and artistic partner in crime Lee Strasberg, and the acting profession, one which should be loved and developed with pride.
Al Pacino says the Mar’Aurelio d’Oro prize from the Italian cinema set is received with honour, being bestowed in Rome – a mecca in world cinema.

He remembers his days in the theatre, which he prefers to the cinema, as his career takes to the future with skills learnt from a long history.
After the talk, Pacino dedicated himself to signing plenty of autographs for the hundreds of fans, and we can now say the Rome International Film Festival has really started.
