Italian football stars: Alessandro Del Piero enjoying summer with his son, Tobias

It seems the new fashion in the football world is all about being a dad, rather than news of the sexual exploits of soccer stars and their betrayed girlfriends.
Juventus captain, Alessandro Del Piero, has been enjoying a relaxing summer with his wife Sonia, and their little Tobias, nine months old.

The first swims of summer have exposed Del Piero’s son to his first publicity, for once tender, and not invasive.
With Italy’s “other captain”, Francesco Totti, it appears Italy’s football players are showing the soccer and family life can mix.

And with the way things went at the European championships, any nurturing of future champions is most welcome.
