Who is Melissa Satta? Italian star gets Sports Illustrated attention

Apart from being Christian Vieri’s girlfriend, former showgirl and Italian model from Sardinia, Melissa Satta, is creating a name for herself overseas.
It’s what every sexy Italian woman craves – a little attention offshore from their own native country.
While a topless Melissa Satta had an expose in Vanity Fair, we’ve also seen Satta in bikini in Miami, and after disappointment over missing out on being a Victoria’s Secret model, she’s seems to have picked up the pieces in an extravagant body paint swimsuit shoot for Sports Illustrated.

So who is she, really?Melissa Satta was originally born in Boston on February 7 1986, but spent most of her youth in Italy, graduating from high school and a public relations degree in Italy.
She was a sports girl in her youth, in both football and karate, and started modelling at a young age after having been a finalist in the beauty contest, Miss Muretto.

Satta started work as an Italian showgirl in 2005 and was one of the Striscia la notizia famous “veline“.
She appeared on MTV in 2007 and this 2010 Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition should prove a highlight of her career.
