Italian actress Maria Grazia Cucinotta to host Venice Film Festival

Maria Grazia Cucinotta will host the 66th Venice Film festival which will take place at the famous Lido of Venice from 2 to 12 September.
As many of you know, the Italian actress hit the big time with a movie called Il postino or The postman which was presented at the Venice film festival in 1994; the movie directed by Micheal Radford and starring the late Massimo Troisi brought fame and fortune to Ms Coconuts who back then was just an unknown, young actress with a dream in her pocket; Maria Grazia Cucinotta’s new film Baaria will also be presented at the Venice Film festival on 2nd September (opening night); a much awaited film directed by Oscar winner director Giuseppe Tornatore.
