New film “Io e Marilyn” or “Me and Marilyn” from Italian film director Leonardo Pieraccioni stars Marilyn Monroe look–alike Suzie Kennedy.
Pieraccioni is a household name in Italy, famous for his light comedies in which normal men fall in love with stunningly beautiful women.
They are films in which everyday Italians can recognise themselves.
Pieraccioni says: “There is a rhythm between the public and I where we don’t get tired of each other.
” He can remember the earnings of his films, saying “Il Ciclone made 78 billion [lire] and the last two made exactly 22 and a half million each.
I think the same people went to both.
”This time the film “Me and Marilyn” will tackle a legendary figure in film making, and Suzie Kennedy has had a professional career as Monroe double, reading on her Marilyn look–alike site that she has performed in front of Madonna, Kate Moss, Simon Cowell, Richard Branson, Damon Hill, Jude Law and Nicky Clarke.
She’s also been spotted at the birthdays of Richard Branson, Stirling Moss and Frankie Dettori.
