Range Rover Evoque R to be powered by Jaguar's Supercharged 3.0 V6

The Range Rover Evoque R may soon hit the market with a sport version of the Evoque powered by Jaguar’s supercharged 3.
0-litre V6 engine.
The new unit, recently introduced on the Jaguar XJ and XF range in two power levels, will be available in the entry-level state of tune of 340 horsepower at 6,500 rpm, with maximum torque of 450 Nm between 3,550 and 5,000 rpm.

There is speculation about the model being also equipped with a more powerul 380 hp version of the new Jaguar engine, and considering that the Evoque is a pretty radical variant of Land Rover, that can be possible.

nl, the SUV can crack the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than 6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph).
Besides improvements to the engine and transmission, the Range Rover Evoque R will have a sport focused setup, with a new braking system and a dedicated aerodynamic kit that will be different from the other versions.
