Tom Sykes continues to be the fastest rider at the private World Superbike test at Jerez despite not being officially included on the timesheets as Kawasaki isn’t carrying transponders.

The Frenchman in the two days of testing has already hammered out 111 laps familiarizing himself with the RSV4 and posted a best time 1’41″283 yesterday (Tuesday) putting himself once again ahead of ‘future team mate’ Eugene Laverty (1’41″762).
Loris Baz was 4th fastest and a second behind his Kawasaki team mate, while Pata Honda’s Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea wrapped their testing program on Tuesday.
Haslam concentrated on finding the limit of his CBR100RR and completed a total of 152 laps over the two days and his best lap was in 1’42″039.
