BMW will be offering a classic six-speed manual transmission on the M6 Coupe and M6 Convertible in late 2013 or early 2014, as an alternative to the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox of today’s models.
An internal source at BMW has reported the news to Car & Driver.
The manual gearbox will be offered in both Europe and North America.

Although the price list hasn’t been reveal yet, we can say the more expensive versions will be equipped with the DCT gearbox.
