Milan-based CR&S provided us with a few photos of some of their best creations of the year, designed by their extreme customization department.
Basically, this Italian company can give everyone the chance to ride his own ‘bike of dreams’, which would be built by another special department called “CR&S Lavoreri” (”Laboratory” in local dialect).

This department is also in charge of the extreme customization of VUN and DUU motorcycles, the two small manufacturers which introduced the idea of assembling “tailor-made motorcycles” just like tailored suits.

So here is a bunch pictures of some of their first ‘Supercustombikes of the year, models that stand out not only for their technical and aesthetic characteristics, but also because each one of them has its own story and is meant to represent the unique relationship that links it to its owner.
It is just another original way to look at the motorcycling world, a different philosophy, a different state of mind.

What we got here are a few on-of-a-kind, motorbikes, five ‘one-offs’, which we are about to introduce:DUU Custom Britten Tribute – Blue and pink, with the four stars of the New Zealand flag: this is a DUU model meant to pay homage to the superbikes built by John Britten, that the CR&S team raced with in the 90s at the beginning of their journey in the racing world.

See small descriptions of the other bikes after the jump.
DUU Custom Dorada – The gold finish of its frame is the only aesthetic element that set this motorcycle apart from the regular matte black “Conlatusa” (a DUU two-seater model), making it slightly reminiscent of the race cars of the 70s.
DUU Custom Tricolore – This model was unveiled at the eve of the 2012 European Football Championship: the idea was to customize a DUU model using the colors of the Italian flag in order to wish them luck for the tournament.
DUU Custom Schiattamuort III – There is a nice story behind this one: this is the third bike for one Mr.
Rocco who wanted to dedicate it to his deceased uncle, from whom he had inherited his name.
Since this uncle was an undertaker by trade, the bike got called “Schiattamuort” (like ‘Gravedigger’ in local dialect, only a little more ‘colourful’), Act III.
In total defiance of superstition, we would say.
