What we in the Western world like to call “emerging” markets are ever more tempting for developed countries’ brands and the making of dedicated products for zones like South East Asia, India and South America.
Plenty of examples of European brands developing new products are available, but now it looks like Triumph could dedicate a product to these growing motorcycle markets.

According to Motociclismo.
br, Triumph is working on a single-cylinder naked bike which could be a 250 or 350 cc model, with water cooling and four valves.

The style would pick up on Triumph’s well known Speed and Street Triple models, but a light and svelte chassis set-up would be created.
While Triumph is building the bike for emerging economies, it could find a limited market in Europe, too, as a kind of single cylinder mini Triumph speed.
At this stage it’s only a rumour, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see this come to fruition.
