Valentino Rossi Snow Sculpture

A giant 6×3×3 mt snow sculpture of Valentino Rossi on his Yamaha M1 created by Samuel Perathoner from Santa Cristina, won 1st prize in the 14th Edition of the Snow Sculpture Competition that takes place in the ski resort town of Selva di Gardena in the Italian Dolomite mountains.
The competition is organized by the town’s Tourist Association during the Christmas holidays and this year’s theme was ‘Sports Personalities’.

Second place went to Matthias Kostner who created another sculpture of Valentino Rossi, but this time it was the profile of Italy’s most famous motorcycle rider.

Third place went to Gustav Perathoner who sculpted 2 times Olympic gold medalist Armin Zoeggeler on his luge.
