WSBK: Assen Round Gets Green Light

With Eyjafjallajökull volcano wrecking havoc in air travel across Europe and many racing fans disapponted with MotoGP’s postponement of the Motegi races, many were left wondering if the World Superbike round at Assen could face the same fate.
Fortunately the good news is that Assen has gotten the green light and we’ll be seeing the usual top notch racing at the Dutch circuit this Sunday as confirmed by Infront Motor Sports SBK Director, Paolo Ciabatti:“The bikes are all in Europe, following the last round at Valencia, and so are the riders.

There should also be no problems either for the fans, who are mainly local, or from Germany and the UK and who can easily reach Assen by bike or car.
Many teams are also planning to get there by car as well, so there should be no particular issues for Assen.
