Ducati and Mercedes AMG announced a new partnership last year for the MotoGP season, with Ducati’s new drawing card of Valentino Rossi coming in handy for some new sponsorhsip.
Now the Ducati-Mercedes AMG partnership is welcoming a new member to produce something fast: the Cigarette Racing Team.
Except this time we’re not talking wheels but water.
AMG previously worked on a speedboat with the Cigarette Racing Team and now Ducati is in on the act.
The first version was a 46-foot speedboat with 2,700 horsepower developed by AMG.
Now we get the Cigarette 42X Ducati Edition.
The 42-foot speedboat is equipped with a pair of 1,100 hp Mercury Racing engines with Ducati livery.
Apparently this thing does over 190 km/hr.
