Carnera: the walking mountain is more than a just a movie about an Italian boxing champion.
It tells the story of a very special man who after knocking out Jack Sharkey became world heavyweight champion and entered legend.
Primo Carnera had a very difficult life, but thanks to his integrity and good heart he overcame life’s hardships and had all his dreams done.

The Italian director Renzo Martinelli has realized a really beautiful movie that tells the true story of this good-hearted giant from Italy, who fought and won, though we can’t forget how unkindly the Italian champion was treated in those days, how he was stripped of his dignity and ill-treated by ruthless mobsters.

His surviving daughter interviewed in occasion of the movie preview said to journalists that she has never ever met anyone as sweet and kind as her own father.
