It’s hard to say what 45 years of waiting to be European Champions does to people, but FC Internazionale fans had plenty of opportunity on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate the 2-0 win over Bayern.
For the first time in history, Milan’s San Siro stadium was open all night long to accomodate fans waiting for the arrival of their team at 5am to celebrate the victory.
It’s unlikely that the Piazza Duomo in Milan has seen such a party, either – this was bigger for the city than Italy’s 2006 World Cup Win.
