Photos from Rob Marshall's Nine: Sophia Loren and Daniel Day-Lewis, Rome

Just a few days ago the cast and crew of Rob Marsall’s Nine , a movie starring such big names as Daniel Day–Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Dame Judi Dench, Sophia Loren, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson, Ricky Tognazzi, Giuseppe Cederna, Valerio Mastandrea and Martina Stella, flew to Italy; as many of you already know, the movie inspired by Fellini’s classic film 8 ½ will now be shot on location in and around Rome.

Piazza del Popolo, one of the most beautiful squares in the whole world; though, to tell the truth, many tourists went ballistic because they were barred from the Piazza and the scene took a whole day to shoot) show Sophia Loren and Daniel Day–Lewis posing as their characters in Mr Marshall’s drama musical.
