Miss Italia 2008 is Miriam Leone from Catania

Miriam Leone is the new Miss Italia 2008, born on 14/04/1985 in Catania, Sicily, she lives in Acireale with her family.
She is an Aries, has green eyes and red hair, is 1.
76 metres tall and currently attends the arts faculty at Catania university, studying arts and “spectacles” (a show-biz course).

She works for a local radio network and in her free time she writes poetry and goes trekking on Mount Etna.

Miriam didn’t at first make it to the final rounds, but on second chance voting from the judges, she came back and impressed such that she has now won the crown.

Jury president was actor Andy Garcia, helped by actor Giancarlo Giannini, seen in Hannibal and 007 Casinò Royale.
