After the news that a second lockdown will start on Thursday, panic buying has started again in the UK, where people have returned to stock up essentials.

Supermarkets are being stripped of toilet rolls once again after UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced a second lockdown and has warned this second wave of coronavirus is going to be worst than the first.
The lockdown will start on Thursday and it will last a month, until December, although it could be extended in case the virus is not yet under control. Boris Johnson had announced this wave could be much worse than the first and that would mean around 85,000 people in England could die from coronavirus this winter.
The situation appears again very worrying to people in the UK who are left with empty supermarkets a, as they were back in April, with the difficulty to find toilet rolls, kitchen rolls and other essentials like pasta, rice and bread. During the first wave of the virus, the government had highlighted the importance of not stockpiling groceries.
Under lockdown, supermarkets and other food shops will remain open to provide essential goods, only restaurants, bars, pubs and other hospitality venues will have to be closed. People in London and in other parts of the UK are now criticizing the so-called ‘Covidiots’ who are panic buying although being told not to. Also, online deliveries who have become essential during lockdown have also been a matter of complaining after slots have become impossible to book up or indeed very far in time.
