Moto Guzzi gets a 616 km/hr speeding fine

Moto Guzzi has a new reputation as the fastest bike on the planet after one Italian got himself caught doing 616 km/hr on his Guzzi – according to the speeding notice that arrived at his house.
Paolo Turina already had plans of challenging for the MotoGP title, before he was told that it was all a simple technical error.

Indeed! The news comes just as Bonneville was likely dying of envy, and while no Moto Guzzi will ever reach the heights of such a speed, the speeding notice is now proudly displayed at the Guzzi dealership where Turina got his bike.

It’s a shame, really, we were hoping for our own slice of history…
