Check out the difference in style between the new Smart eScooter and the Mini electric scooter, also dubbed the E Scooter.
In a mix of psychedelia and vintage, Mini seems to have the quirky thing going on in its scooter range and we wouldn’t be surprised to see these go into production and become popular.

In fact, looking at these official Mini E Scooter pics the adaptation of the world-famous Mini style might be just what the electric scooter market ordered to freshen things up and increase appeal.
Even the name suggests what Mini is trying to do: there will be a Mini E, a British Racing Green version and a Mod Era version – you can’t get more obvious than that.

The Mini E Scooter concept will be presented at the 2010 Paris Motor Show at the same time as the Mercedes competitor, Smart eScooter will be presented.
Both have a similar set-up with an electric motor in the rear wheel and Smartphone capability taking the place of an instrument panel.

There’s not much more detail available yet but a preview event in London should give us more information.
