Cristina del Basso is an Italian showgirl of the lesser variety, having made her career like many girls these days, from reality television.
Born in Varese on May 3rd, 1987 it seemed that not much happened in the life of Cristina until she decided, on reaching maturity, to get her breasts enlarged from a D-cup to an F.
And her future it seemed was then decided for her.
Italian television loves exaggeration and when Cristina burst onto the scene in the ninth edition of Italy’s Big Brother program in 2009, there wasn’t much more exaggerated than that.
She had also appeared on Italy’s showgirl contest Veline for a chance at the famous dance girl roles on Italy’s satirical program Striscia la Notizia, arriving at the semi-final stages.
Since Big Brother, Cristina has done her own sexy calendar, like every self-respecting showgirl, and has appeared on other Italian television programs like variety show Colorado.
She landed herself a role in Italy’s trash cinema movie “A Natale mi sposo) and has been the girlfriend of rich Italian entrepreneur Fabrizio Politi.
She had disappeared from the pages of the gossip mags until the rumour about a relationship with Tiger Woods emerged.
Del Basso has vehemently denied the rumour, which actually emerged from the US, saying that apart from the fact that Tiger Woods plays golf, she doesn’t even know who he is.
The rumour has given her a boost in publicity, as our stats pages tell us, but she is actually not a pornstar as one search on Google seemed to indicate.
Despite being of the breed of more mediocre showgirls in Italy, Cristina del Basso is actually quite well-loved by her public and credited with some intelligence as she was studying media and communications at university before entering the world of Italian show biz.
On Big Brother in fact, she received no nominations for elimination until the final rounds of the show, and made it to the final, finishing third.
