Italian traditions: Italian coffee and how to correct it, part three

It’s about time that Blog Dolce Vita examined the “corrected coffee” in Italy.
And so we give you the below guide in the third part of the dolce vita coffee series.
This kind of coffee is generally not recommended as an early morning wake up, but you will sometimes be shocked by the occasional person at the Autogrill who will order one.

How a corrected coffee falls into Italy’s new strict alcohol/driving laws, I’ll never know, but basically you take an espresso, and you top it up with a little alcohol.
Grappa is the traditional choice, but you can get more creative depending on how much your stomach can stand.
