Rome: Trevi fountain as seen from inside

Actually the coins you see in this picture were not thrown into the Trevi fountain, but I must say the effect this skilled photographer has succeeded in creating is quite convincing.
Don’t you think so?Anyway the legend has it that if you throw a coin into the fountain you will come back to Rome one day; the tradition is thought to derive from the offerings people used to make to the gods in the hope of having their wishes granted.
