It is reported that places in Knightsbridge located West of London experienced heavy rainfall after which two main Tube lines encountered forced closure.

Gloucester Road

Another report highlighted the closure of the District line amid Barking and the region of Earls Court as a result of intense rainfall in the surroundings of Gloucester Road.

Piccadilly Lines

The Piccadilly lines faced transportation delays due to heavy rainfall and power failure.

Aldgate

Immense flooding was witnessed overnight in Aldgate that affected the Metropolitan line.

Imperial Wharf

Rainfall hits Imperial Wharf resulting in loss of service in London Overground amid Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction.

Heavy Rainfall resulting in London Flooding

As per Met Office, over 26mm of rainfall was recorded within an hour at St James Park, Central London.
