Tragic crash in Pembrokeshire claims young man’s life

A devastating two-vehicle collision on the A4075 between Canaston Bridge and Yerbeston has resulted in the tragic loss of a 22-year-old man. The incident, which occurred around 6:20 pm on Wednesday, June 17, involved a grey Kia Sorento and a white Yamaha motorcycle.

The young motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while his 22-year-old female pillion passenger was rushed to the hospital, where she remains under care. The driver of the Kia Sorento, a 60-year-old man, escaped unharmed. The road remains closed as authorities conduct a thorough collision investigation, advising motorists to seek alternative routes.

Investigating officers are appealing to any witnesses or motorists with dash cam footage who were in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.

Random attack on luxury McLaren in Pembroke

In an unusual turn of events, a woman was captured on security footage kicking a man’s McLaren 570S on his driveway in Pembroke. Gareth Edwards, 33, was alerted to the intrusion around 9 am on Tuesday, June 16, through his security camera app.

The footage revealed an unknown woman repeatedly kicking the luxury vehicle, causing two hairline scratches to the £75,000 car. Edwards promptly reported the incident to the police, who are now investigating the trespassing and criminal damage.

Murder investigation in Caldicot after woman found dead

A murder investigation is underway following the discovery of a 52-year-old woman’s body at an address on Green LaneCaldicoton Thursday, June 4. Caroline Jones’ family has expressed their devastation at the loss and requested privacy during this difficult time.

A 50-year-old man known to Ms. Jones was arrested on suspicion of murder and has since been detained under the Mental Health Act.

Search for missing man concludes tragically

The search for missing man Sam Hunter33, has come to a tragic end with the discovery of his body in Pencoedtre WoodsBarryon June 11. Hunter was last seen around 4 pm on Saturday, June 6, with his black Carrera bicycle.

South Wales Police have confirmed that Hunter’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and his family has been informed.

Ely rioters sentenced as courtroom drama unfolds

The sentencing of 30 defendants involved in the Ely riots has reached its eighth day, with emotional scenes unfolding in the courtroom. Jamie Jones was the first defendant sentenced on Thursday, receiving a five-year and two-month imprisonment.

As Jones was led down to the cells, shouts of “Love you” could be heard from the gallery. Yesterday’s sentencing saw nine of the first ten defendants receive custodial sentences, with abuse directed at Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke.

Massive cannabis seizure leads to arrests in South Wales

Three individuals have been charged following a significant cannabis seizure at Southampton Port. The operation, conducted by the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU)resulted in the confiscation of 12 tonnes of cannabis imported from Canada.

The charged individuals are Daniel Gould-Lewis37, Gavin Davies45, and Heidi Phillips36. They face charges related to the importation and supply of cannabis, money laundering, and the importation of a prohibited weapon. Gould-Lewis additionally faces charges for possession with intent to supply class A drugs, including heroin and crack cocaine.

The suspects have been remanded in custody to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court.

The A487 in RochPembrokeshireis currently closed in both directions due to a crash. Additionally, Abercynon Road is closed following a serious collision, with the road expected to remain shut for several hours.
