Jorge Lorenzo on Rossi: “It must be unconfortable to have a 22 year old team mate that goes fast”

In an interview with Al Primer Toque (The First Touch) on radio Onda Cero and picked up by Spanish website Marca.
com, Jorge Lorenzo talked about his 2009 season, team mate Valentino Rossi, and his Yamahah techs who were lured to Honda.

Lorenzo has made no secret that he wants Rossi’s throne and even if he acknowledges that it is difficult:“Next year I’ll try again and I can assure you that it will be next year or in the following years.

This year I’m the runner up, but I hope in the coming years, at least once, I’ll get the championship.
”On his relationship with Valentino Rossi, his teammate at Yamaha, said; “I suppose it must be very uncomfortable having a 22 year old team mate who also goes fast.

”And about his techs that went to Honda: “We hope that Yamaha will react and that we don’t lose the competitiveness that we have.
I believe that Honda is trying to ‘Europize’ itself and they’ve started with signing up techs and in the marketing area.

That Gallina Vecchia of Valentino Rossi has his work cut out for him again next year.
