A man in his thirties was hospitalized after a road rage incident in Yeovil. The suspect, described as white and in his mid-forties, remains at large.

The tranquility of a Monday morning in Yeovil was shattered by a violent road rage incident that left one driver injured. The altercation, which took place on Lysander Road around 10:15 am on June 15, has prompted an appeal from Avon & Somerset Police for witnesses to come forward.
The incident began when an unknown man driving a black Audi RS3 stopped abruptly in the middle of the road. He then exited his vehicle and approached the driver’s side of a Ford KA that was following behind. What ensued was a heated exchange that quickly turned physical.
The assault and its aftermath
The suspect proceeded to shout at the victim before punching the window of the Ford KA, causing it to shatter. The force of the blow also resulted in injuries to the driver, a man in his thirties.
He sustained cuts to his arm and face, necessitating hospital treatment. Fortunately, he has since been released to recover at home.
The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-forties of muscular build and with tattoos. Despite the serious nature of the incident, the suspect remains at large, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
