While filming The Tourist Johnny Depp fell under the spell of Venice, so the American actor started hunting for a house right away and when he came upon an empty building situated in the Santa Croce, he decided to buy it without any second thought for more than 12 million euros! It’s not a flashy house area of Venice but it’s one of the only available homes overlooking the famous Grand! There was no time to lose!
